Jean-Alexandre Echène, more well-known as «Beb», is the pioneer of this activity in 1991 and the founder of the first heliski company in Chile in 2002.

The pioneer and most experienced guide in the Andes, ex pro-rider. Beb introduced snowboarding to Chile in 1989, then in the 90’s, he was the first to bring pro teams, shooting crews and the clients to fly and heliski the Andean mountains. Forerunner of the heliski routes in the Central Cordillera and in Patagonia for more than 25 years. Heliski Guide, coach, ski and snowboard certified instructor by ENSA(Chamonix, France). Father of 4 children.

Martín
Sales & Marketing Director
Martín was born and raised in Chile. Former engineer and high performance athlete. He spends half of the year with his family surfing in the north shore of Perú, Mancora. Today, he is entirely dedicated to being the personal liaison with each of our clients and suppliers to design and create the perfect experiences in the Andeans mountains and Chile.

Professional freeskier for 12 years (skied down Everest in 2003). Brice is a fully qualified Canadian ski guide and French ski instructor. Works since 2009 together with Eagle Pass (Revelstoke Canada) as a heliski guide and he has been guiding in the Andes since 2005 with Andes Heliboarding. He has been traveling the world to guide heliski and ski touring for the past 20 years.

Co-founder of Exodus Group. Heliski-guide, Coach, Ski and snowboard instructor (ENSA de Chamonix). Pro-rider, competitor in alpine skiing then on the World Cup circuit in ski-cross. Insatiable globetrotter and talented freerider for 20 years. Today, Francis chooses to pass on his passion and his experience by teaching skiing alongside insiders and novices alike. Passionate about freedom, he puts his wealth and generosity at the service of your craziest aspirations.

He has worked in the Canadian mechanized ski industry for the past 25 years, being a guide for numerous cat skiing and heliskiing operations before joining Eagle Pass in 2007. He is now the general manager of Eagle Pass Heliskiing in Revelstoke. Now guiding for Andes Heliboarding during the southern hemisphere heliski season. Father of 1 child.

Native from Kamtchatka, Max is a russian pro rider for Burton and Oakley. Pro heliski guide for more than 20 years in Kamchatka and over the world. Founder and Director of Helipro in Moscow.

He grew up in Sun Valley Idaho. Competed for the US Olympic team and placed fifth in the 1980 downhill competition, also bronze medallist in 1978 World Cup in Germany. Heliski guide since mid 80’s. Co-creator of Mountain Spirits, a company specialized in adventure travel around the world.
He has guided heliski and ski touring trips in Greenland, India, Iceland and Chile.

Mountain guide for more than 20 years, certified UIAGM by ENSA (Chamonix) where he is also a teacher and instructor. Cofounder of Heliski Russia and pioneer of the organization of heliski trips in the Caucasus and Kamchatka. He loves to take his skis from one place to another, from Chile to Svalbard. The mythical Antarctica peninsula is on his list of trips.

High mountain guide, certified UIAGM in Chamonix. He started with a passion in Mountaineering and climbing the large faces of the Alps before he specialized in heliskiing during the winter seasons, first in the Italian and Swiss Alps, and then traveling between Russia, Japan, Iceland, Pakistan and the Chilean Andes. Founder of Heliski Alpes in Chamonix.

From Turin, Italy. He is a high mountain guide, certified UIAGM since 2003, lives between Aosta and Chamonix and is part of the Mountain-passion.com guide team. Part of the Cervino Guide Society from 2003 to 2019, the year in which he resigned to look for new adventures, exploring mountains all over the world. Has descended of the north of Lyskamm, of the east and of the south of Monte Rosa, of the north of Aiguille du Midi along different itineraries and east of the Matterhorn.

High mountain guide, certified UIAGM by ENSA(Chamonix, France). Alain is native to Chamonix, took part in skiing and climbing competitions and went down some of the most prestigious corridors of the Massif du Mont Blanc, by ski and snowboard. Being the 6th generation of his family to do so, Alain is a dedicated high altitude guide in Chamonix.

To our heliski/boarding operation. Armed with extensive knowledge of the vast terrain that we cover, our guides are able to select the right places based on your ability. Our safety infrastructure provides you with an unsurpassed level of safety and service. Our guides are well trained in avalanche hazard evaluation and control, route selection, weather analysis, emergency first aid, mountain survival, rescue and ski instruction techniques. Radio repeaters give us voice communication throughout the heliski area. Snowpack and weather are analyzed daily, and forecasts are made accordingly, with slope assessment conducted prior to skiing.
Helicopter &
Pilot
Andes Heliboarding uses the following helicopters-Ecureuil AS 350 B3 and Bell 407. All of our pilots are highly experienced in high mountain flying conditions and were all trained by the Chilean Air Force. They have thousands of hours offlight experience.
Safety Equipment
In the field, all our guests are equipped with an ABS airbag pack (bagpack freeride) with an avalanche transceiver, shovel, probes and you will receive a comprehensive safety briefing of the use of these equipment before skiing. Before leaving the DZ, your guide and pilot will also brief you on safety in and around the helicopter.
For safety reasons, due to weather, heliski days end at 15:00.
